Dan Lee, 29, was crowned champion in 2021, becoming the 15th winner of the BBC One series.
“It’s a dizzying sensation. It’s fantastic. This tournament has meant a great deal to me. It has increased my self-assurance, and I now understand what it takes to stand on your own two feet “Following his victory, he stated.

With his Asian and Modern European cooking styles, he managed to win over the three judges. Jimi Famurewa praised his sauce in the Critics Round of the Quarter Final, calling it “nearly crazy.”During the competition, he was also commended by top UK chefs, including Matt Abé. However, the main course included ‘Singapore Chicken Rice. Which consisted of a Chicken Breast stuffed with Chicken Thigh Mince, Sesame Oil, Spring Onion, Ginger.
