The Career of Robuchon

The fact that Joel Robuchon created an empire—something no other chef had ever been able to do—may be one of his most notable professional accomplishments. The chef took an extensive global culinary tour to broaden his knowledge, focusing on Spanish tapas and Japanese bento boxes. This brought greater vitality to his cuisine and his vision, which served as the impetus for his new restaurant idea. He wanted to make his cuisine in front of his guests, not only cook for them anymore. Thus was founded his kingdom, L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon

One of the most recognizable fine dining cues in the world quickly emerged from L’Atlelier’s iconic red and black color scheme. Of course, music was required to cap off the dinner experience at L’Atelier. Chef Robuchon enlisted the help of conductors Eric Bouchenoire, Eric Lecerf, and Philippe Braun to compose the music for his dishes, resulting in a fully immersive dining experience for patrons. Apart from offering the best food money can buy, L’Atelier had established a competitive advantage over other eateries.

Since then, the restaurant has expanded from its original site in Paris to include locations in Las Vegas, New York, London, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Singapore.
